Renewed VISION on the horizon

A renewed vision for Queensland public libraries is coming! The University Of Southern Queensland (USQ) was successful in their tender for the review of The Next Horizon: VISION 2017 for Queensland public libraries  (PDF 1.2 MB).

The project team of Dr Kate Davis and Dr Matt Finch will ensure that the next VISION will be guided by input from public library staff and other key stakeholders; and the next steps will include:

  1. A series of consultation and engagement workshops with key stakeholders around the state to gather a representative range of viewpoints
  2. Interviews with a number of library managers from a range of different libraries, including regional and urban services as, as well as services of different sizes
  3. A short online questionnaire for Council and public library staff
