Annual Reporting

In accordance with the Service Level Agreement for Public Library Services 2014-2018 (SLA) each Queensland Council is required to submit annual statistical data detailing the performance of its library service each financial year, as well as a self-assessment of Councils performance in relation to Councils’ Obligations as detailed in the SLA.

The 2017-18 reporting period has now closed. For information about the annual reporting process please contact the Local Government Coordination Team lgc@slq.qld.gov.au

Annual statistical bulletins

The annual Queensland Public Libraries Statistical Bulletin provides valuable information about Local Government libraries in Queensland. The data provides for state-wide benchmarking across key indicators and can be used for Local Government reports, funding submissions and to benchmark Queensland library services with library services in other states.

The annual statistics since 2010/2011 are available as open data on the Queensland Government Data Portal.

Complete or partial files can be supplied on request for 2000-2001 through to 2004-2005.
