TropicALIA is a virtual group for all library workers in Townsville and North Queensland. Our members represent a wide range of libraries - public, university, school, special, and corporate. We aim to promote professional development and networking in North Queensland by sharing library-related news which is relevant to our region. You can use this list to start a discussion thread or to announce events, conferences, workshops, new publications, and job vacancies that are relevant to North Queensland. This list is hosted by the State Library of Queensland and should follow the "Conditions of use for Queensland public library discussion lists". For more information please contact the List Manager at: tropicalist@gmail.com. It is a private list. Requests for subscriptions are first emailed to the list owner who approves the new subscriber.
