Showcase your library’s digital inclusion projects at the 5th annual Broadband for the Bush Forum, to be held at State Library from 7 to 9 June.

The 2016 Forum theme, Digital Journeys, focuses on how digital engagement can benefit everyone. It will promote practical stories and outcomes of digital inclusion for regional, rural and remote people, communities and service providers.

An Indigenous Focus Day will be held on Tuesday 7 June, and the Forum will take place on 8-9 June.
Abstracts of no more than 300 words are now being accepted until 4 March. For submission details visit the website.

The Broadband for the Bush Alliance (B4BA) is an alliance of organisations that seeks to advance the digital capacity and capability of remote Australians. B4BA seeks the best possible communication outcomes for the 7% of Australians not currently scheduled to receive fibre to the premise through the National Broadband Network, and to advance unmet telephony needs, as a significant related issue.

See the Broadband for the Bush Alliance website for more on the Forum program.
