Dads Read provides tips and tools to encourage and support fathers in reading to children. Dads Read is an early childhood literacy initiative developed by State Library of Queensland to promote family literacy.

First 5 Forever

First 5 Forever is a universal family literacy program aimed at creating stronger language and literacy environments for Queensland children before they start kindergarten and school.

National Centre for Australian Children’s Literature (NCACL)

The NCACL collects, documents and preserves Australian children books and literature. The database includes the Cultural Diversity Database of more than 340 titles.

Young people's librarians group (YPLG)

A forum for Public Library staff working with young people in Queensland that facilitates networking and information exchange.
