Due to renovations of the Cannon Hill facility loans from Public Library Services have been temporarily suspended. Titles can be reserved via the RLQ Catalogue and borrowed from other RLQ libraries. No boxes will be accepted at Cannon Hill during renovation. Please keep your returns in your library until further notice or arrange a rotation with another RLQ library. Stay tuned for updates.

State Library of Queensland Public Library collections have materials for loan to Queensland public libraries. These include:

  • audio books for people with a print disability
  • large print books

To borrow these items for your library, please use the Bulk Loans online form and remember to provide as much background information as possible.

Home library services are provided to people who, through reasons including disability, illness and limited mobility are unable to access public libraries in person. To see the Queensland public libraries that provide this service check the Services spreadsheet in the latest Statistical Bulletin.
