5. Despatch

We aim to provide a reliable service within reasonable time constraints, using a number of courier services, some only particular to your library. The main freight suppliers are Australia Post, NQX, and local government provided courier services.

Requests are transferred and despatched daily.

The whole of government agreement for couriers and freight expired at the end of January 2019 and we signed a new agreement.  We are putting in place a new service and we are in a trial phase. This new service will be explained, implemented and rolled out to all of our network by the end of this financial year. Please continue to use your current service that is still in place until further notice.

5.1 How material is sent to your library
