eResources for kids

Check out and download eBooks in ePub and PDF formats. eBooks, eAudio and eVideo can be downloaded to a compatible portable device. Search for titles in the RLQ online catalogue or select from the platforms below.

Animalia (Library Edition)

  • Available for PCs, MACs, Android devices and Apple iPad (iOS) devices. Not suitable for iPhone.
  • Download the app. Sign in using the code: slq123 (No need to sign in with your library number)
  • Connect online to sign in, each time you open the app. Then use the app offline.
  • Read the books Animalia and the ABC of Flying online.
  • Download activities once.

Kanopy Kids

  • Films and TV Series, including learning languages, animated storybooks and anime favourites for pre-schoolers and up.
  • Click the KIDS icon to access kid-friendly content.
  • Provides developmentally appropriate age ratings to assist carers with their selections.
  • Access on your computer, television, or mobile device with Kanopy apps on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire Tablet.
  • Carers can choose to implement parental controls for additional security.
